On Sunday, August 9, at 8 p.m., the biennial event "Stars im Luitpoldhain – The Night of Jazz and Friends" will take place in Nuremberg’s Luitpoldhain park. Marking his 50th anniversary on stage, Wolfgang Haffner—one of Germany’s most successful jazz drummers and the event’s artistic director—will once again welcome outstanding soloists, including the band Mezzoforte, Swedish singer Viktoria Tolstoy, guitar virtuoso Torsten Goods, and the multi-award-winning singer Laith Al-Deen.
Accompanied by the German All Star Big Band under the musical direction of Jörg Achim Keller—who is also responsible for the evening’s arrangements—Wolfgang Haffner and his star soloists will once again delight the audience in the Luitpoldhain.
