Stars im Luitpoldhain
As with all major events, a very high volume of traffic is to be expected when travelling to and from the event. If possible, please refrain from travelling by car and use public transport or bicycle. In any case, the organisers recommend that you allow sufficient time for the journey there and back. This way you can enjoy the concerts in a relaxed manner.
To ensure that all music fans can get to the concerts comfortably and safely, VAG is stepping up its services for travelling to and from the venue.

A taxi rank is available from 22:30 to 23:45 in Bayernstraße at Volksfestplatz.
If you are travelling by car, please follow the instructions of the dynamic traffic guidance system. It will guide you to the car parks. You should not use a navigation system, as this does not take into account (short-term) road closures and traffic jams or occupied car parks.
Bicycle parking (free of charge) can be found on the street "An der Ehrenhalle", at the "Palazzo-Parkplatz" in Bayernstraße and in the park direction Meistersingerhalle.
Car parking spaces (subject to a charge) are available on the "Große Straße" and on Volksfestplatz. Parking spaces in limited numbers can be found at the Meistersingerhalle.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available in the Meistersingerhalle car park.
A note: Since July, there has been a new digital parking management system in the car park at the Meistersingerhalle, which now works without barriers and tickets. More information on www.meistersingerhalle.nuernberg.de.
As tens of thousands of guests are once again expected to attend the event, the police and VAG have drawn up a corresponding traffic concept that will be valid from 8 a.m. to midnight. Please drive widely around the Luitpoldhain area. The organisers are appealing to concert-goers to use public transport or bicycles if possible.
In detail, the following measures are planned:
Between Schultheissallee and Frankenstraße, Bayernstraße can only be used on the southern lane (the side facing the Volksfestplatz). It is therefore only passable from Frankenstraße/Münchener Straße. From the opposite direction, Bayernstraße will be closed during this time. Traffic will be diverted (via Schultheissallee and Münchener Straße to Frankenstraße). After the end of the event, from 10.30 pm, Bayernstraße will be fully closed in both directions until 11.30 pm.
To ensure that only residents can drive into their neighbourhoods, road closures will be set up and monitored by traffic wardens. At the turning loop in Schultheißallee, it will be possible to drive back to Münchener Straße. The street An der Ehrenhalle is fully closed from the turning loop to Bayernstraße.
